Supernatural Skeptics Guide to New Orleans is a brand new adventure in the fan-favorite franchise of The Walking Dead. Critically acclaimed actress Mara Junot leads listeners through a ten-part horror adventure in the role of host Sarah Bennett. This odyssey is a companion story to The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR game from Skydance Interactive and Skybound Games, which will be available for players to dive into on January 23rd, 2020.

Listeners were treated to an adrenaline-fueled ending to last week’s chapter of the Supernatural Skeptics Guide to New Orleans. Sarah Bennett came face to face with a mysterious figure who had plenty of violent intentions towards her. Bennett had been exploring the wicked LaRouche House, where the Brill Family had tortured and murdered a dozen people. The Brills claimed that the ghost of Quentin LaRouche, the slave owner who committed plenty of atrocities inside of the LaRouche House, had influenced them to perform their vile acts of violence.

Now, we return to where we left Sarah Bennett in Part Two and hear of the horrors she experienced throughout one fateful night in Part Three: Walkers.

Listeners learn that all of the broadcast equipment Bennett had brought with her to the LaRouche House had been destroyed. This destruction was the result of Bennett being attacked by a terrifying man. “Last night, while broadcasting from inside the LaRouche House, a man attacked me. He was disfigured, the flesh on his face torn. I could see bone. And Teeth. Gnashing teeth. He stared at me with what I can only describe as hunger,” says Bennett.

Fortunately, Bennett escapes the grasps of this horrific individual and makes it outside of the building. Unfortunately, she is greeted with even more individuals who are similarly disfigured, like the man she had just escaped. This collection of monsters causes Bennett to make a run for her van and try to get as much distance between herself and the LaRouche house as possible. Her escape plan is soon interrupted by a speeding police cruiser that impacts Bennett’s vehicle and sends her into pure darkness.

Sarah soon awakens from the crash and finds her injured self with the officer who had been driving the police cruiser. She notices him holding his neck and soon learns that he had bitten by one of the strange people. The officer promptly corrects Bennett explaining that these individuals were no longer of the human race. “They’re not people. Not anymore. They’re…infected,” the officer states.

Our host is then pushed to the ground by the officer who begins fighting off a group of the infected with his firearm. However, the officer is eventually overrun in a display of pure gore. “The officer ran out of bullets. So he did the only thing he could do. He screamed. He screamed as they descended on him. He screamed as they bit into him,” Bennett explains. “Then I heard what he was screaming. ‘Run.’ Those were his last words to me. To anyone.”

A desperate run for survival soon finds Bennett back at the LaRouche House, where the group of infected remained from earlier. Having lost all hope and surrounded by multiple bloodthirsty creatures, Bennet prepares herself for what she fears will be an agonizing death.
